Unusual Tunes
Hermès Singapore

In line with Hermès International’s theme for 2017’s window displays, “Object Sense”, Insert Coin played on the idea of The Intelligent Object, where the ingenuity of Hermes Objects were narrated through a musical parody.

Titled “Unusual Tunes”, Insert Coin examined how sound, as a form, is a means through which humans recognise objects. A single sound can convey a feeling, a message and act as a voice for the larger spirit for which the object exists.

Every Hermès product has a voice, and by representing the product and its associated details as part of a musical note or instrument, we can perhaps hear this voice playing inside our minds.

If Hermès were to interpret music out of its products, this would probably be how it will look like.
