As existing airport terminals undergo rapid transformation to prepare for the arrival of Jewel Changi Airport, how could we provide passengers with a sneak peek into this magnificent destination that awaits?

Tasked by the Changi Airport Group to dress up the temporary hoardings masking the construction of a joint walkway between Terminal 2 and the upcoming Jewel Changi Airport, Insert Coin created a 3 metre long interactive window display showcasing an imaginary landscape inside a jewel crystal. Inspired by the sights and sounds to be found in Jewel Changi Airport, passengers were treated with delightful surprises as mechanical trees grew from the flashlight provided by passengers' mobile phones, and birds appeared mechanically and perform a digital fly-off upon hearing passengers' whistles. Passengers could also insert a coin into a wishing fountain, with proceeds going to Changi Foundation in support of disadvantaged youths.
